What is overtime and how to calculate it?


 Overtime: work at a regular job done in addition to regular working hours 
limitation Overtime hour: According to the Bangladesh labor code 2006 and 
section-102 weakly hours

➤Overtime Calculate Procedure: 

➤Overtime= Basic salary/208*2*Number of Extra hour work
➤For Example: Sahin is a work of limited. His Gross salary is.
➤Gross salary=Basic salary2000+H.r800+M.A200
➤Gross =3000 TK
 In the month of February his total of Extra hour is 20.

 
Sahin’s Net Payable will be = 3000÷ 208 × 2 × 20+ (Basic 2000 + House Rant 800 + Medical Allowance 200)
Sahin’s Net Payable will be =577 +3000
Sahin s Net Payable will be =3577  Tk
Now question is arise that, how  we find 208, Actually 208 is the total number of working hour of the month. withing a month we can find 26 working day and every working hour is 8 so that 26 × 8 = 208 hour
